Owner, Eric Everhart first opened The Butcher’s Block in 2017. Eric’s journey in the retail grocery industry started with humble beginnings. Starting as a bagger boy at a local grocer, Eric eventually worked his way up the ladder to become store manager. After 28 years in the industry, he had the means and knowledge to open The Butcher’s Block in uptown Lexington.
His passion in cooking pushed him to start his business, as his goal was and still is to provide customers with the highest quality meats and fresh seafood at an affordable price. When it comes to cooking, the ingredients elevate the meal, and The Butcher’s Block has become a trusted local staple that anyone can look to for premium products.
